ITC ceramic coatings are incredibly useful when it comes to high temp ceramic coatings. They work extremely well when it comes to cookware because they protect your cookware from extreme temperatures. Your ITC ceramic coating-covered cookware can be used in the oven, broiler, steamer oven, toaster oven, convection oven, microwave oven, and on the stovetop. While you're busy reaping the benefits of your cookware, don't forget to take care of it.

Always wash before the first use

After you remove the packaging from your ceramic coated cookware, wash the pans with warm soapy water. Wipe them clean with a paper towel and remove all dust particles and dirt from the manufacturing and shipping. After you wash the ITC ceramic coating-covered cookware, it's ready for use.

Use safe utensils

When dealing with high temperature ceramic coatings, you always want to use the correct utensils. Stick with wood, silicone, plastic, or nylon spoons and spatulas while cooking. Also, avoid cutting any food while it's still in the pan. Metal utensils have rough edges and can scratch or leave marks o your cookware.

Be careful with heat

It's true that ITC high temp coatings can handle a lot of heat. In fact, ceramic can withstand temperatures of, 2000 degrees Celsius (3,800 degrees Fahrenheit). Additionally, ITC ceramic coatings can withstand up to 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit. That being said, most ceramic-based nonstick cookware can't handle prolonged periods of high heat. So, use a low or medium heat when cooking with ceramic nonstick pans.

Avoid extreme-temperature water

When washing your cookware, don't plunge the pans a hot ceramic pan into freezing cold water. It's best to allow the pan to cool completely first before washing it. Drastic changes in temperature can damage the nonstick coating, reducing its cooking abilities.

Don't drop it like it's hot

This one may be obvious, but don't drop your cookware. If you bend, wrap, or drop the cookware, you might deform the ceramic coating. This can result in the loss of its nonstick properties.

Ceramic coated cookware has many benefits when it comes to cooking. With that being said, you have to make sure you properly take care of it so those amazing properties hold out and your cookware lasts longer.
